Royal Delft Tiles: Let's Paint!

We will travel to the town of Delft, the birthplace of one of painter Vermeer, and learn about ceramics by Royal Delft, and how it brought prosperity to the entire region. Did you know that for the price of a full set of Delft Blue tableware in the Golden Age, you could by a Porsche Carrera with golden wheel covers nowadays? We will learn about what made that style of ceramics so unique, and create our own unique piece in the style of Royal Delft Tiles.

The class size is limited to 7. Registration is required. Checks or cash is a preferred method of payment for this class unless you are paying for a group. Let's Make A Shaker!

We will design a jar that preserves not only the coldest hues of winter but also its sounds and smells. Every such concoction is unique - after all the winter smells, feels, and sounds different to everyone.

Play-Doh: Teeny-Tiny Worlds

$25.00

Everyday objects (such as mugs, plates, and pots) are transformed into miniatures worlds with the help of play-doh. Every world is unique. Join us, let your imagination run wild. Working with play-doh is very soothing, not to mention that play-doh is very helpful in exercising fine motor skills and strengthening the small muscles in fingers and hands;

*4-5 year old kids can attend free of charge with participating adults to help adults to get in touch with their inner child by creating along with adults and showing adults The Way.

Milk Carton Town

Out of empty milk and juice cartons, we will design a charming little town! If you have miniatures cars and peg dolls, they would feel there right at home. Hope you can join us!

Let's Paint! The Fox & The Moon

Choose between 11" x 14" or 16" x 20" canvas to paint this painting. Acrylics on canvas. 

This class is a good fit for young artists and those adults who are either looking to create unforgettable memories making art with their children or grandchildren OR those who are nurturing an inner child and /or an artist. If you'd like to attend but aren't certain if it's a good fit for you - mostly it is, however, feel free to give us a call or send an email.

Play-Doh: Alebrije Rabbit

Alebrijes are brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of imaginary creatures that have elements from different animals such as dragon bodies, bat wings, wolf teeth and dog eyes. Join us as we travel to Mexico City to get familiar with the paper mache crafter Pedro Linares who created the alebrijes in 1930s, get inspired by the coroful fanastical (fantasy/mystical) toys, and let your imagination run wild.
