with Winnie the Pooh

9:30 am - 1:00 pm

Deep in the Hundred Acre Woods, Winnie the Pooh is getting ready to celebrate his birthday. His dear friends Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl decided to invite the quirkiest and coolest birds and animals to the party. Alas! They all of them got lost on their way to the party. Using our imagination and a variety of art mediums the campers will make their own one-of-a-kind creatures (stuffies, clay creatures, creatures designed out of cardboard and found objects) that will help Winnie the Pooh celebrate his birthday.

Half a day (9:30am - 11:00am) is available for campers ages 6 - 7

Portable Doll, Robot & Other Creature Houses

9:30 am - 1:00 pm

We are going to design and make a fabric portable playhouse for a doll or any other creature that may be looking for a place to live. Some campers may want to learn how to use a sewing machine, while others may only wish to use a glue gun. Some may come with their favorite dolls or creatures in hand, while others may choose to make their own doll or stuffy. Imagination will run wild as we explore patterns and designs to make a one of a kind portable playhouse with our own hands. All materials including sewing machines for the most inquisitive ones) are provided.
