For the "Knight Owl" theme, there will be sensory boxes, exploration of art materials, and making a cardboard armor to fly back home in.

 

This is a process oriented experience: through joyful sensory exploration of various materials, children are engaged in problem solving, verbalizing their ideas, building their creative confidence and learning age appropriate skills. While your child may walk away with "real" cardboard armor, the focus during this hour is on exploration rather than on the final project.
