ART HISTORY IN THE MAKING

 THURSDAYS

5:00 pm - 6:45 pm

Ages: 8 - 14 years

Art History in The Making students will embark on an adventure through time as they learn about major periods of Western art history and explore their own creativity by looking at the world around them through the eyes of artists and craftsmen of the past.

Each class consists of two modules: mini-lectures on the time period of interest, followed by hands-on sessions during which we will sculpt, draw, paint, lay out mosaics, and work with other techniques to create artwork pieces in the style of the period we are studying.

This class is best taken together with Shining Minds: as they are designed to compliment one another.  For younger students our Art Sparklers  program may be a good option.

  • Currently this class size is limited to 7 students.

  • Before registering for a session you may try one class by paying a trial class rate of $26.00.

  • Please, read our COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols here.

  • The Covid-19 Liability Waiver and the rest of the forms need to be completed, signed, and returned to us before the program start or your first class.
